It's easily the most realistic bowling game I've ever played.

I pride myself on being a decent bowler but sometimes I don't have the money or time to go to the alleys and hit the lanes. I'm happy to say that this is a really good bowling simulator for a number of reasons. Aside from being a boring game with very limited appeal this game has some things to offer for the hardcore bowlers. One is the fact that you can position yourself on the boards appropriately to your bowling style and adjust the measure of spin and aim respectively so if you have bowling experience you can appreciate the realism. Every roll switches up the position slightly to keep you on your toes and make the right adjustments. When it comes to rolling the ball a meter comes up and you must time your button press for the power meter and the accuracy meter. All in all, the core game-play does the game of bowling justice as it is a game of consistency and timing. The modes in the game range from tournament to open play to pro career but all of them have you doing the same thing over and over; bowling. That's really all I can say about this oneā€¦ oh, the 'create a bowler' mode is decent and I almost forgot to mention the amazing pin physics! They are amazing, especially for a PS1 game.
