Tactical Combat Consolified

Can't believe its been over six years since I got through 3/4 of the game on the X-Box only to never complete the game.

Sure its looking dated, but the game mechanics are bang on the money, the AI coded to put up a stern test and the campaign story & cutscenes do a solid job of compelling you to complete the game without losing a man. Though gameplay is fairly simplistic and the method of overcoming your enemies repetitive, the level designs are distinct, while together with the changing enemies you face and the different objectives you must complete - provides good variation on the games solid core.

There are literally zero bugs - except the one where I couldnt finish the mission because I jumped a conversation with an ai officer - causing the programming to go haywire, the game plays without any hiccups.

Once the action get's started you'll be too bust ducking stray shots and shrapnel to worry about the lack of a stand-out soundtrack. If you enjoying Saving Private Ryan and want to relive the experience of that journey through a video game then this is the perfect way.
