A nice change of pace. The GBA and DS need more games like this.

User Rating: 8.7 | Broken Sword: The Shadow of the Templars GBA
This game is a nice change of pace from action side scrollers. Those familiar with the other games in the series and/or the old Kings Quest games on the PC will appreciate this game. Those looking for action will be disappointed and should not review this game. It's all about exploration and piecing together clues from interviews and observations of the environment. The graphics are amazing for the GBA with hand-drawn environments and character animations that are very smooth and fluid as the character moves from the foreground to the background while exploring the environments. The music is sparse but comes in at just the right places for dramatic effect and is very well done. The game could have used a few voices here and there for effect as well as some animation to the cutscenes. The game is heavily story driven and will not appeal to those with short attention spans. This game is greatly overlooked and under-appreciated and highly recommended for those who appreciate unique and well-produced games.
