Brink

Save your money and buy something else. Way too many bugs. Online co-op does not work. Period.

I'd love to give this game a good rating. Unfortunately it is so full of bugs it is impossible to enjoy, much less review properly. A major selling point is co-op mode (online). Unfortunately the developers and/or publisher failed to test in the real world. In short, many folks, including me and my friends, cannot play online despite wasting hours trying different ideas.

The devs did NOT document which ports to open (as if you should need that in a UPNP world). In fact, the downloadable edition comes with NO MANUAL at all.

Both me and my friends experienced several crashes and we were even in the main part of the game (that would be the time spent in the menus trying to get online anything working).

I will say that the graphics are most impressive. I especially was wowed by the skeletal/muscle engine beneath the character skins. That however, does not make up for a game you cannot enjoy with friends, especially given the amount of hype given to the multi-player and co-op aspects pre-launch.

  I don't think Gamespot gave the PC version a fair review... see why.
