had really high hopes,but sadly there are alot of disappointments
proberly the best thing about this game.most of the buttons are the same but u can sweep and reverse-sweep which is really good.also u can dance down the wicket and smashg the ball for a six.but u can only do this when the batsman is on full confidence.but watch with this especially with spinners,because if u miss the ball when u dance down the wicket even though the wicket keeper takes a while to stump u,it also takes a while for ur batsman to get back to his crease even if u press the x button straight away.and wen u do get back to ur crease it always puts the bat out of the crease so u get stumped anyway.
bowling
solid.pretty much the same but its much easier to get edges but the buttons are the same and they do the same thing.but its good how as the ball gets older it dosent swing but it as loads of spin.also the bowling speeds are much more realistic,so we have flintoff bowling at 90 mph instead of 80 and also shoib aktar bowling at 90 insted of 105.
fielding
the worst thing about this game.absolutley rubbish.ok so when the batsman hits it to your fielder and u press the button in thke middle it still goes far away from the wicket keeper and almost all the time he stumps u even when u dont run.also it takes much longer to pick up and throw the ball than the lat game.and the slip catching is very hard.although it does slow it down abit alot of catches still go down.also sometimes u over throw it and it takes the computer ages to pick the ball up so its an easy run for the other team even when its a couple of yards away from the stumps.
the computer people are quite wierd.they drop alot of catches,they really smash u so the always go about 10 an over but u can easily bowl them out for bout 80.the most they have got off me was 229,but also there have been 26,48,52,83 etc.also they pick their 2 best bowlers at the start so if their best bowler is a spinner (muralitheran)they will have him at the start.
the sound is a bit better.the commentry is pretty much the same but its good when u pick up the ball there is a call to say what end u should throw it,(as u can throw to both ends).also when u do a good delivery there is shout such as"top bowling".
i think the graphics are a bit better,the player's body looks better but the faces are crap.the players are still fake apart from in the champions trophy and the world cup and u cant change them.u can unlock photos,pieces of kit such as bats,gloves,etc.for ur own player,cheats,caps,glasses.u get trophies for doing different stuff but no classic games.
u can do an ODI league,test league and a twenty20 league which is good.and there is a tutorial with mini games.
so all in all,apart from the crap fielding and wierd computer AI this is a good game,but if ur looking for a real improvment in the game,u might be disappointed.
