A fun little knock off of Big Brain Academy that doesn't compare to a game that uses a touch screen or Wiimote .
This game is very reminisent of Big Brain Academy, but without a touch screen like the DS, or the Wiimote of the Wii, it's hard to offer the same kind of experience the game it emulates does. What Brain Challenge does do, though, is give you a surprisingly good game that at least goes through the motions of offering challenges and then grading you on how well you performed.
The system in place is not of the same quality as Nintendo's games since using the arrow pad can first of all potentially make the pre-selected answer the correct one, and then navigating to the correct answer just doesn't feel as natural as when using the touch screen.
What is there works fairly well, and the game can be played with multiple Xbox profiles so each member of the famly can have their own save data. In additonal, multiplayer options are available and could potentially offer additional game play.
For $10 Brain Challenge is a good value and is fun in short bursts.
