A cross-genre between platform and puzzle game, slightly overhyped but definitely worth playing it.

After hearing about this game from a friend I looked around and read a few reviews about it giving Braid a good score. "All of them cannot be wrong", I thought, so even being partly a platform game, which I don't like much, I gave it a try.
I must admit that I'm very pleased with this game. Though short, there are a few points that make playing this game an enjoyable experience:

a) Graphics and sound: These were designed to be relaxing and beautiful at the same time, and they do their work very good. They create a perfect atmosphere for getting into the game and solve puzzles without any rush.
b) "Time play": Braid lets you control the time in the game and it's an essential part for solving all the puzzles presented in the different worlds. Didn't make that jump right? Just "rewind" before you jumped and try again. Did you get killed? Again just rewind and try a different approach.
c) Puzzles: That's what the game is about. You travel across different worlds trying to solve a good amount of puzzles which range between very easy and quite difficult to solve. For most of them you don't need to think much but some are really tricky and will make you think for a good amount of time.
d) Story: It's interesting the story between the main character and the princess he's looking for. If you take your time reading the books at the entrance of each world you'll discover than Braid is "more than meets the eye".

And about more than meets the eye... even when you think you're done, there's even more to discover. Secrets within secrets... I really recommend this game for those who want to spend one or two evenings chilling an try to unveil its secrets.
