This western-based DLC revolves around you trying to help a local sheriff defend a town from a gang bent on taking over it. Wow, What a unique and original storyline. It's not like I haven't dealt with that same premise multiple times throughout Borderlands 3. You can really tell a lot of time and effort went into the thought process behind it...
Bounty of Blood is arguably the weakest of all DLC and compared to Handsome Jackpot, That's really saying something. The comparisons between the two are pretty noticeable: Both are incredibly short, Lack depth in the story, Are incredibly linear and really don't bring anything new to the table that makes it stand out. There wasn't a single moment in this game that made me excited or made me think it was good. The only thing I could think of was how incredibly bored I was with playing it.
There's no level cap increase, There's no challenge to be had when playing it and what limited missions you do get often consists of: Go to point A, Kill people, Go to point B, Kill people and then turn in the mission. You really can tell just how little effort went into this (and into Handsome Jackpot) as they both follow a similar formula and they are both so instantly forgettable.
Overall: 3/10
I genuinely have nothing good to say about. Bounty of Blood is an utter waste of time and not worth paying for.
