Awesome sequel to an amazing game

User Rating: 9 | Borderlands 2 (Deluxe Vault Hunter's Collector's Edition) PC
If you have played the Borderlands recently, just like me, you might think that the sequel will be monotonous trying to introduce you to stuff you have already been accustomed to in the first game. But you will be very wrong. The game provides you with the enhancements and utilities you might have by the end of first game and then builds up on that. Everything, every small detail has been renewed and mostly for a better one. The 'artistic' world-view which was quite criticized in the previous game has been diligently made picturesque and realistically fantasized. Unlike the first game, every players is effectively able to use each genre of weapons but masters one genre respective to his/her type, which is great. The world is now more interactive and the missions bring about a more personal feel to the individual who hands them to you. All in all I liked every small improvement they have made. With exception of the plot direction which albeit, I still haven't finished, does seem to have take a bit dreary turn as compared to the first game's adventurous one. Still the game is loads of fun and is very immersing

Likes and Dislikes that I can think of at the moment
#Likes: - MINImap....finally a minimap!!
- New UI is good.
- Inventory comparison/selection is easier
- Enemy AI looses interest in combat if you move out of there line of sight for a while, so they don't follow you throughout the map. Which helps when you are just passing through a map you have scoured before and don't want to fight weaker enemies now.
- enemies have weaknesses apart from critical damage points so as to slow them down
- income is steady and random loot generation adapts to your level
- you can jump from whatever height you want
- love the soundtracks

#Dislikes:
- drift maneuver in cars is fun, but it has made cars less precise when you want to get to a place very quickly
- role of clap-trap is reduced
- Its very easy to fall off the map, or bridge or into a ditch, which leads to a lot of re-spawns.
- the difficulty growth is very slow
- timed missions...with a terrain where you can get caught between rocks and other objects with a wrong jump, timed mission seemed out of their place. Its a good thing they are only a part of optional quests.
