Bordelands 2 is a highly addictive RPG shooter.

Borderlands 2 gives you quite a timid experience at first. Five years has passed since the events of the first game and claptrap, the funny little droid, holds your hand as you stumble to safety after an explosion. Like so many other adventure games with RPG ambitions, the beginning is slow and a bit tentative. It has however improved from the first game, there's less nagging and repetitive actions in the same areas.

I never liked the comic book style of the graphics in the first game nor in this one, but I can't deny that it does look really good. Its main strength lies in the crazy characters you meet and their monologues which are hilarious at times. The overall sound effects is excellent and the music fits really well, not to mention the fantastic voice-acting.

The enemies you meet are dangerous from the beginning, also there's an overwhelming amount of weapons in the game which allow you to come up with a lot of different tactics.

The AI however could use a fine-tuning, lots of times certain enemies just stands in the open and fires, at what I can't tell because they sure aren't hitting me. The aiming-detection mechanics could also be better on certain enemies, some head shots don't register unless you hit exactly in the middle.

Despite these minor flaws it's a highly addictive game that will give you 30+ hours of playtime for a single play-through.
