Quest objects falling through the ground?

Doing the Road to sanctuary quest, and have to get a power core and every time I clear the area out with the bandits ( camp whatever) I still cant seem to find the core.

I have checked different sites and reviews and have found this to be a common problem in this quest and most of the quests in the game. Many times players are being forced to restart a mission over and over again just so a quest object wont fall through the floor.

I have reloaded and cleared the camp already 7 times and still shows its dropped but nowhere to be found. (spent 2 hours looking for the core over the bandits site :/ )

I personally never had this issue in the first Borderlands and absolutely loved that game, but I don't want to have to reload my game a billion times in hopes of completing a quest.

It may be just my copy of the game or maybe it is the game itself? Whatever the case is, MY OPINION is don't purchase this game
