This shooter has humor, style and RPG, but lacks good shooting.

Borderlands 2 is a game of two halves. One half is the funny dialogue and stylish world. The other half is the shallow and uninspired shooting mechanics. The game can be fun at times, but the shooting just doesn't hold up. The game has many guns, but they don't feel fun to shoot. Enemies barely react to getting shot, and just continue to come at you. Some if them are way too overpowered, and the approach to takig down each one is the same, pump it full of bullets. There is little variety and this makes the shooting unsatisfying. Also, the mission design is awful. The story missions are way too extended and seem to go on forever. The sidequests are little more than fetch quests or kill tasks. Also, the vehicle controls are clunky and horrible to use. Not to mention, the game has no real stealth in it, so playing as Zero, the ninja, is extremely unsatisfying. This shooter has style, but no substance.
