Pros: large new area of Pandora to explore; great voice acting; new enemy types; cool new vehicle; raid bosses (finally!); new weapons

Cons: a few "go and get x [number] item" quests

I'm still surprised at some of the negative reviews of this DLC, especially that the trademark Borderlands humor "wore thin" by the end of the DLC. I'd prefer a game that doesn't take itself too seriously rather than being pretentious (I'm looking at you COD).

For $9.99, I thought this DLC provided a good amount of content, without feeling to empty. New weapons, new enemy types, and the very fun sandskiff vehicle. Not a lot of filler, except for a few 'go and fetch x number of x" quests that seem to be more of a burden rather than a fun quest. Perhaps most importantly is the addition of two raid bosses that require a full group to loot.

Oh, and pirates.
