Simple and addictive, I don't read many user reviews. I find the opinions often vary from my own. However as GS haven’t reviewed this indie release, I feel the need to pipe-up on it's behalf. This game is simple to play, it's addictive, and best of all it's free! Using a similar concept as Rise Of Nations’s range-of-influence system you drop blocks of differing sizes and shapes a-top each other building upwards and outwards of your start position towards a central 'flag'. The higher your towers the greater the range of influence you have on the playing field. Once you've captured enough of the field that the central flag falls under your influence you win. Game play is also spiced-up with a variety of 'gifts' such as a volcano that you can throw towards your opponents to disrupt their blocks and a jumping block which creates little 'black holes' around the field for pieces to fall into. The game doesn't come with any documentation but does have in-game tutorials to teach you the basics. There is a single (or 'monoplayer' option) as well as solid multiplayer. Though there is no browser option to find net games. Also included is a built-in mp3 player allowing you to listen to your own choice of tunes whilst you play. In summation, as a freebie, you can't go wrong, the download size is very modest, the play is very addictive, the variety doesn't provide the greatest longevity to the title but with a plethora of configuration options you will be playing this for much longer than the time it took you to download it.
