Are you a fan of the classic bomberman and looking for a quick fix in the form of mini games? This one's for you.

User Rating: 6.5 | Bomberman Land WII
There is one major saving grace to this game, it has a classic mode... that good ol' multiplayer, top down view, maze with bomb dropping and power-ups.

The graphics are lazy and look like something that could have passed 7 years ago on Sega Dreamcast, but barely suffice now... with that in mind, this game isn't about flashy graphics, it's about simple-minded fun.

The single player campaign is good training, it ends up forcing you to play some of the mini-games that you would have otherwise bypassed and in doing so helps you discover a few fun ones that sound like they would be more boring than watching "Oprah" on mute.

Long story short, there is little to no story... you're in a tournament with a bunch of other bombermen to become the best at conquering a collection of mini games and that's what this is... a collection of mini games. These are fun mini games that are mostly made to make specific use of all the wiimote capable motions (wiggle, waggle, jiggle, swing, flick, tilt, no tilt the otherway, no no... the OTHER way, etc.)...

I find myself pulling this game out when I have friends over that are familiar enough with the Wii that they want to try something besides Wii Sports, but equally as simple. It's a good little party game, and takes less luck than Mario Party 8 so it's better in my opinion... I hate losing to some punk who doesn't know what he/she is doing and just got lucky... that doesn't really happen in Bomberman Land, but it's still fun and simple enough that those who don't know what they are doing can have a good time.
