the gothic graphics and innovative gameplay are far ahead of its time, but its a little difficult, and full of puzzles.

Given its age, this game still is incredible, and has all the elements of a fantastic platformer. the Gothic artwork blends perfectly with the storyline and turn of the century style setting (steam punk), but this slowly dissolves in the sequels, to the point its confusing in Lunar Knights. the puzzles are incredibly difficult, but with good reason, the innovation they feature is like no other. i can see why some dislike this game, and the puzzle solving method is similar to TRACKMANIA, you just keep blindly going until you get there, except when you can see clearly whats going on. this takes hours, which is why there's some haters, but once you've finished one, its clear how brilliant the level and trap design is. but i still can't beat the last boss (i wish i never went up to the vampire satellite thingy!!)
