A poorly executed, low budget, confusing experience that is completely impossible to play without a walkthrough

When I bought this game, my first impression was this must have been an elaborate April fools joke, I immediately noticed how confusing everything in the game was, to add to the confusion, the hint the game gives are completely useless. Like what in the world is a fine or a foul note? Then I battled the first monster, and after slapping it across the face a couple times with an horribly animated backhand, it bit my head off, and without an explanation I found myself outside of a locked church. I went around and clicked on everything possible, collected my weapons, but could not find my way inside the church, spent about 40 minutes on it total, looked online for a walkthrough, found nothing about where I was stuck, and never played the game again. What stood out in this game so far are the very low budget looking character models and animations and level design. It looked very much like an unfinished mod for another game, not something that should be sold alongside legitimate games. And then I went online and learned that this is another game in the dark souls franchise. A franchise that somehow made it on the list of retail-priced games and high rankings from game websites. From my experience, these games do not belong around legitimate finished, polished, and tested products that offer complete cinematic experiences to their players. They belong with the rest of low priced (but sometimes nonetheless good) buggy indie games. So please beware before buying this game new, you will most likely be extremely disappointed at wasting your money.
