Updated graphics and excellent sound. The controls would fare better with button remmapping. All-in-all a good buy.
The controls felt great. I was able to control my tank with ease. Controlling your scientist when he goes on foot, however, does not fare quite as well. The strafing was hard to get used to, and I found myself accidentally switching my weapon or firing my grenade unintentionally. I wish they would have included an option to remap buttons.
The music and sound are excellent. They pay homage to the original with style. This game is definitely worth your hard earned cash, and not very much at that. Developers take notice, there are many hungry classics out there that need this recipe.
