This game is really fun despite it being so simple. In Birds & Beans you're Pyoro, the bird, and you catch the beans by either slinging your tongue out (Birds & Beans 1) or "spitting" (Birds & Beans 2). The game plays like a GBA game, in that it is only on one screen (you can choose top or bottom screen). The graphics are colorful and the music is cute. This game quickly becomes addicting if you begin to chase the high score, like many users do. It's easy to start playing and the straightforward gameplay is accesible to any gamer. It's totally worth the $2. In a way, it reminds me of iPod Touch apps in that it's expensive and easy to play, but the sense of control feels much tighter. Despite that, this is quickly becoming my top-played DS game! I don't have much time to play now with college, but when I do, Birds & Beans is a satisfying game to pick and play.
