Welcome to the world of Rapture.

User Rating: 9.5 | BioShock X360
This is the place where BioShock takes place. I’m pretty sure everyone that was interested in the game downloaded the demo to try this game out. Everyone from the level shown in the demo is there with little differences in how things were place from the demo to the actual game. You’re on this nameless character that was on a plane and this airplane crashed in the middle of no where. You swim up to find this light house and you being the curious person that you are head straight to the light house. Once you reach this light house you noticed a open door that leads to a bubble elevator that takes you down to this under water city called Rapture and this is where the fun beginnings.

Once you’re down there you start communicating with this guy name Atlas. He wants you to help him save his wife and daughter. In return he’s helping you survive in Rapture. You start having encounters with these half human half zombie people called splicers. These were once smart and gifted people that lived in Rapture before they turned to what they are now. In the game you start taking these things called Plasmids are fluids you inject in order to change or affect the world around you. Also you need these things to survive in Rapture. There are also these upgrades called Tonics give you enhancement abilities in the world. You can use them in to engineering, combat, and physical as far as damage resistance.

You’ve heard of one of types of enemies which are the splicers but there are 3 different kinds in the world thuggish, spiders, gunners. You will have to research them as the game progresses. Also another friend and foe that you’ll face in the world of Rapture is the Big Daddy. This character will not harm you unless you try to or unless you try to hurt the little sister. I will not spoil anything but depending on what you decide to do after you off a Big daddy you’ll have to make a choice between harvesting or saving the little sister for their Adam. Adam is something that’s very important in the world of rapture this is like a cure for cancer in our world. This is what everyone is really after in the world and you need this to survive in order to get a hold of more plasmids in BioShock.

Now on to the graphics this game is GORGEOUS to look at. You can just walk around slowly and just admire in uhhhhhhhhhh on how beautiful this game really looks. There’s also some creepy mood and feel to the game in certain areas of the game. This game has to be up there with one of the most beautiful games on the 360 with Gears of War and Oblivion. I’ve been in so far a good 6 hours of none stop gaming and I haven’t noticed a hitch on the framerate on the game. The soundtrack and sound of the game is just as good as the graphic top notch music and sound in this game. This game can also be very forgiving. If you’ve played a game called Prey you’ll know what I mean by forgiving. It will leave you off right where you were last but with a half your health and half you Eve. Eve is the amount of energy you have left for your Plasmids in the game. So you have those two bars showing on the screen.

There is no multiplayer but If you’re looking for a first person shooter with RPG elements well the wait is over because that game is here and it’s called Bioshock.
