Great game, if you loved the original then you'll probably love this one. Creepy and immersive just as I expected...
Look, I played Bio1 over 5 times... yes its a bit much but I love what it brings to the gaming table. Its fresh, unique and just a tad creepy and weird like me. :P
There is easily several things I like about Bio2 better than Bio1 and visa-verse.
Pros : New guns looked awesome, you can quickly pound the crap out of your enemies with melee for a change (WOOHOO!). Story line still immersive. Splicers maintained their creepiness. Sounds where awesome, especially for fight scenes! Underwater scenes, although pointless where spectacular.
Cons : Not much for new plasmids... :(
It somewhat seemed a little rushed. Big sisters appearances seemed somewhat random, disjointed and frustrating.
To say the least, Bio2 was not as unique as I was hoping, but what can you expect when its a sequel. There was something from this game that was just... lacking... it was missing something... maybe some mojo?
Despite all that, it had me totally hooked on smashing splicer face and for the life of me I couldn't even get up to make coffee I was so drawn in!
Some of you wont understand why I give it a 9 and sure that's debatable. But I give it a 9 still because the Bio series is still one of the best, most unique games Ive played to date with an outstanding story!
Well done 2K you put a surprisingly good game together... for a sequel. :D
