Visuals:

The visuals for Bionic Commando are great in the cut scenes but not so much in the actual gameplay and the same kind goes with the detail of the environments and the detail to the character models. So I'll start with the main character model's and the detail to the main character Nathan was really over the top and un-realistically looking is arm's were bigger than Arnold's himself hit was a little to deranged and the detail's to some of the other supporting non-playable-character cast was a little bit more better to look at and were more realistically done as well and with the exception of the main character Nathan all the other main non-playable-character's were all done well. The detail to the environments were alright and looked good, but the detail could have been a lot better and you get to look at some city locals that are not that great to look at and then you go through some lush forestry locals which looked like it was design really well and the overall view for all the details for the locals of the environment's are some do not look great at all and their some locals that look amazing. Now I'll talk about the cut scene's for this game and that they looked better than the actual gameplay. So in short for the visuals for this game and the fact is if the cut scene's are better than the actual gameplay than you only have a game that is visually decent to look at overall and in that case the visuals are just decent and are not that great at all.

Audio:

The audio for Bionic Commando is ok but nothing great at all, well except for the voice work and the musical score or sound track, but the sound's of all the effects on the weapons. So I'll start with the sound effects and the sounds of the weapons and the sound of the explosion's kind of sounded a little cheap sounding and in fact the sounds of the explosion's from the rocket from the rocket launcher sound like something just crashing in to something and did not sound like it was blowing up and it kind os sounded a little old school which was alright, but not good at all. The sound's of most of the weapons kind of sounded like you were firing a pellet gun or even a paintball gun and even with that said the only weapon the sounded decent was the rocket launcher and in fact it sounded alright but still not that great sounding. Now I'll talk about the voice work for this game was pretty decent and in fact was the only thing that good about the audio and along with the sound track/musical score was all pretty decent and in fact these two thing made some of the game's high points feel pretty epic but still it was all still pretty decent. So the overall view of the audio for this game is this bad sound effects mixed with a good and decent sound track and voice work make's the audio just plain decent.

Gameplay:

Now this as a single player and multiplayer, so like what I always was do I'll talk about the single player then the on line.

Single-player

Now the gameplay for Bionic Commando and that is alright but a little way to repetitive and the story is a little to uninspiring and I'll point out you play as a character named Nathan which is a Bionic that was put in prison for a disobeyed order that was suppose to happened in the pass so basically this game is a bit of a reboot with mix of where the game left from the original that was my guess anyway from when I played this game and then you are released to take down a group of pirate's and mercenaries that is being lead by another Bionic and they are after some technology that I think is to create their own Bionic army or something like that, see what I mean about the story and how uninspired this story was and it had some epic points in it other than that it was pretty much boring for to remember. So I talk a little bit about the character and the aspect of the game it self now and so you got the main character Nathan and is Bionic power is a arm that has a hand that works as a grappling hook so you can grapple on to the side's of buildings, lamp posts, poles and what ever the game will allow you to grapple on to because you may start playing this game and think you can explore all the areas this takes you in to but that is not the case because every time you think you go to one spot you will be greeted with a puff or a could of radiation and this can make this game very tedious and very linear which I do not mind in some game's but a game like this you have to have an open world aspect like in ( Spider-man: Web of Shadows ) and I do not know why GRIN did not go this way is kind of beyond me and most of the weapons were a bit of a pain to use and were not that effective except for the rocket launcher. So this game as some strong points in the single player but it did get a bit boring. So in short for the gameplay in this game is that the single player is a bit broken and uninspiring.

Multiplayer:

Now the on-line for Bionic Commando as only three mode's to choose from and you have your basic death-match and team death-match and it also offers a capture the flag mode which is just like every game that as this mode but you all have a grappling arms and you can use it to grapple your way through the maps and grapple climb up to the tallest point to get the sniper but from my little exposure of the on-line component and it is a little fun but lacks a competitive edge to it but games are meant to be fun right. So in short the game's on-line is fun is a little pointless and won't keep you playing it for long.

Overall:

The overall point is this and despite the lack of uninspired gameplay and story, a fun but lack luster on-line, average visuals and decent audio make game almost unplayable but the game is worth getting if the price is under $20 dollars and if it is not the pass on until it is. So in short this is just plain average.
