Beyond Good And Evil a must have for your collection!

When Beyond Good and Evil came out it received ok reviews but was sadly drowned out by other hyped titles at the time. This is a shame as the game is so amazing and unique. The game takes some elements from Zelda but has its own gameplay elements to make it unique. You control Jade who soon joins a secret organization and is sent on missions. With jade you do basic platforming and fighting with her special weapon. The fighting is really fun and you can usually get help from your partner during fights. Speaking of partners you get two throughout the game one the awesome PJ who is Jades uncle and some other guy you meet later who i wont mention to avoid spoilers. The other unique thing about the game is that Jade can take pictures of various animals and other things with her camera. This can be in the main missions or for a very fun siequest. There are plenty of sidequests to keep you busy too from hovercraft races,finding Pearls,getting snapshots of rare animals and many other things. The graphics of the game are pretty good and colourful and i love Jades model. The music is really awesome too. The only negative about the game id say is the final boss it can be quite frustrating and this is the only part of the game that drove me nuts! Anyways overall this is a well made and thoughtout game that deserves to be played by any PS2 owners. Im very glad a sequel is in the works :)
