A great game for any classic gamer!
Bezerk is a great game. It was one of the first games that I consider fast-paced. Robotron would take it another step soon after. Also, you can't say the game isn't stressful, after all, this game did cause the first video game related death.
Graphics: As this is Atarti, the graphics are not what we would call today "good", but for the day, they were pretty good. You had a black background with a little stickman running around in it. Thats atari graphics, get used to it ;)
Sound: typical beeps and boops that went with that era of gaming. Horrible to most gamers now, but to classic gamers its just fine.
Gameplay: The cool thing about this game was being able to shoot in more than one direction. Of course with all the robots coming at you, it was needed. Although the robots could shoot in any direction as well. This caused players to think up a plan of attack. Although, if you took to long, Otto the evil face would come after you. He was invincible and would kill you while smiling right at you. Isn't that nice?
Fun: I would say that this is one of the most fun atari games around. Constant fear of death can make anyone giddy.
Overall: A great game in a great era of gaming. Pick it up.
