Recently, I reviewed Angry Birds Friends for the iPod, stating that it should have stayed a Facebook game or been an add-on mode to the other Angry Birds games. Bejeweled Blitz is another one of these games that should be an extra mode for the original game. All Bejeweled Blitz has is a 1-minute mode where you score as many points as you can, a shop for buying items and Facebook connectivity. The game doesn't even remotely have enough to be a stand-alone title and it really should have either been an extra mode or just stayed a Facebook game.
I like that the game has extra items and boosts to help you get the highest score and maybe if friends had this game and Facebook, it would be fun to compete with them, but overall, this game should not be a standalone app if there isn't enough content to justify the game. You are better off getting other Bejeweled games if you are not that much of a score chaser type of player.
