"Very Reminiscent Of The First DMC"

Just so everyone knows, Hideki Kamiya, the Story writer and director of this game, also played a major part in the making of a number of different titles, including the first Devil May Cry, Viewtiful Joe 1 & 2 and the first two Resident Evil games just to name a few.

So you can be safe in the knowledge that this wasn't "Banged Out" in a couple of months by a bunch of "newbies" to be ready for the Christmas season.

What I enjoyed most about the game were the epic boss battles, which are seemingly becoming more and more scarce in modern games. If you're a fan of the old school, half an hour long, epic boss battles then I would definitely recommend this title.

As for replay value, it depends entirely on the person. If your an achievement hunter or enjoy the hack and slash play style, then you'll most likely enjoy playing through the different difficulty levels, as well as unlocking the bonus characters and weapons.

On a personal note it is good to see a strong female character as the lead protagonist, also matching the Hellena Taylors authoritative voice to Bayonetta's character was definatley a good choice.

My experience summed up:
• Epic Boss Battles
• Great Hack and slash type game play
• Good voice actors (dialogue isn't always great though)
• Potential replay value
• A medley of different weapons to choose from
• Interesting Gothic character and level design
