This title is to video gaming, what B-horror is to film. Recommended to those looking for some mindless old school fun.

This game is much better than a lot of highly uninspired titles that throw you in a tank and have you mindlessly blowing up foes and other objects alike. Unfortunately this is far from the best tank experience available in the universe of video gaming. It was kind of neat seeing a password feature in this game to help those of us who have filed all of our PS1 memory cards to the brim with files from other games. There are about three dozen very short objective based levels within the context of the story mode. At the beginning of the game you are given a currency of tank bucks which you use to purchase tanks to control one at a time to complete your objectives. If you die, you lose the amount of tank bucks that your selected tank costs and you buy a new one to start afresh where you left off in the level. There is never the possibility of getting lost as there is a radar feature and all the levels are quite small and open with area to tan cover and figure out how to ambush your enemies. The story is a bit strange and something you might find in a B-rate action flick. A disease has wiped out a large population of women and now there is a war being fought over them for the purposes of procreation via tank combat. So when you wrap your brain around that you go through the levels with a little text informing you of the context of the battle and who you are fighting and your objectives. There is a nice variety of tanks to choose from but your favorite might not be available for a given level and you will have to use your head to figure out which is best suited to complete the objectives. This also forces you to adapt to new strategies and keeps the gameplay and action varied. Unfortunately for the most part the graphics and sound are very poor and the action is somewhat generic and bland leaving a game that ultimately has not aged well and not surprisingly has been forgotten like so many late PS1 games in the 2000s.
