Hated at first but grew on me a little.

Pre-Ordered and installed off XBL BF:Hardline and wish I didn't. Next time I'll be buying disks @ retail.

MULTIPLAYER

First impressions were not great. I started to play typical BF online modes (Conquest and TDM) and thought the game was horrible. Spawn kills galore and just bad map layout for these modes made it frustrating. Random grenade kills etc.. If your into this type of modes go back to BF4. Now not realizing this wasn't the best design for Hardline I switched to the other modes "HEIST, BLOODMONEY, VIP, HOTWIRE etc...) and was pleasantly surprised! Now this really changed my mind they are tons of fun and high paced action. You also earn a lot more cash to buy inventory items/weapons/gadgets playing these modes. Graphically multiplayer looks like a last gen game. It's got really ugly textures at times and some maps just look darn ugly. Less destructive environments as well but that's expected with the absence of heavy explosives and vehicles compared to its military counterparts. Weapons seems to be lacking in choice. I almost feel like it shouldn't be a game but more of a DLC for BF4. (if single player wasn't added)

SINGLE PLAYER

I loved this. I honestly have been buying FPS games for years and lately have not even cared to play the single player campaigns b/c to me they are all the same. This game on the other hand is a huge mix of GTA meets BF with a mix of a Cop Drama TV show in the mix. Really well done I loved it from start to finish and was well entertained. I do agree the car chases kind of get tiresome after a while. Arresting enemy's earns you more points but hey I shoot first and ask questions later lol. It's still fun sometimes but flashing your badge isn't for me. NPC's acting is well done and the story is also pretty good.

CONCLUSION

It's a decent game but I doubt it's re-playability factor is high and Multiplayer to me does not carry the same re-play value its military counterparts hold so well. (I still play BF4 on X1 since it was released) I'm hoping this holds me over till BF5 is released. If it goes on sale it's definitely worth picking up and those hardcore BF guys I can see might not be too involved in this one. Also a great game for newbies coming into BF titles. It's a game everyone should at least try!
