Terrific game! Terrifying AI...

Considering I was late to the whole X-box and new generation systems I didn't get BFBC until everyone was hyped up for the sequel, so after trying the demo for both the first and second game I picked up the greatest hits addition. First thing I noticed about the game was that I was all alone to do EVERYTHING and I mean everything from taking down full squads and tanks and choppers all at the same time. This would be all fine and nice considering the last few war time games I have played I spent the game as a solo operative, but this game seemed to be heavily squad based with the heavy gunner, information specialist and a sergeant right next to you at all times, and with the constant barking of orders from all squad mates you not only did everything you were treated like you weren't doing anything at all. I can understand how a game with 3 other elite AI units around you would be boring but freaking make them have at least a 10% chance to hit a target!

The other aspects of the game were beautiful the destructive environments kept you on your toes and the enemy AI was smart but not super human so tactics had to be thought out. Vehicle combat and movement was smooth enough for a FPS but could use a little work on being intuitive most of the time I would press the trigger expecting to move only to sit perfectly still. the weapon selections were downright amazing I found myself using a verity of weapons at all times and although a pistol was missing for every weapon except recon or snipe sets it didn't upset too much.

Now I'm not really a war time multiplayer but I found the multiplayer was fun enough at times to keep it up sadly the selection of maps are lacking and with only two basic modes I didn't see myself playing it for more then a week, sadly I was correct. if I had to play the multiplayer of BFBC2 or BFBC1, I would chose one, the maps are clearer and the buildings look like buildings, and well that's what I like.
