Battlefield: Bad Company 2

User Rating: 9 | Battlefield: Bad Company 2 PS3
The Good:

- Beautiful graphics - Campaign has hilarious characters which you care about - Multiplayer highly addicting and very rewarding - Vehicle's make game unique to the FPS franchise - Destruction 2.0 engine works well - Great sound effects

The Bad:

- Campaign has very little replay value - Some bugs and minor glitches

Let's start this off. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is one of the best FPS out there and deserves it's place as one of the best. The campaign - to start off with was OK. Some missions stood out better than others, but some stood out for the wrong reasons. The vehicle sequences in the campaign were very good, and so was the opening mission: Operation Aurora.
The campaign goes across different area's unlike in the first Bad Company, in which you pretty much explored a forest the whole time. Now you get to explore snowy areas, jungles and go airborne. So much better in that perspective.
But alot of the campaign's fire fights felt repetitive and lacked that 'epic feeling' which makes me want to play it again. Also the story wasn't too impressive.

As for the multiplayer; well this is were you get good value for your money!
First thing: The bad - Apart from some glitches my main problem was people who didn't play as a team and camped to get a helicopter.
Other than that - Quality
One of the great things was riding vehicles. Some racing games don't have as good vehicle sequences! It was great to ride helicopters, boats, jeeps and (my personal favourite) quad bikes.
It was very rewarding and the road to rank 50 is a long one. But that doesn't matter because the game is great fun and will keep you hooked.
Touching on rewards again, you unlock gadgets, weapons and other kit. Also you unlock medals which are fun to collect.

Overall this game lacks the great campaign but has the multiplayer which is well worth the money.
