Disproportion between SP i MP is so big that it's hard to believe that it was made by the same company. MP is not all...
SP is by far the most emotionless, dull and pretentious in Battlefield series. If not for great sound design and good graphics, this would be worst I have played so far that have metacritic score of 85. This game is very unbalanced. Why would anyone made a game with totally screwed up story and put so fantastic sound effects and very nice graphics in to it? Why made a singleplayer campaign at all then?
MP is good. Very good. Almost everything is "just right". However as for the game that is so strongly focused on MP experience I'm surprised that it have so poor damage algorithm... Shooting guys with 50cal have the same effect as shooting them with your handgun. What? And this is the game that cares so much about details? Another thing is how more experienced teams can overrun their enemies base. It's just stupid when you get shut 1s after you spawn because half of yours enemies team is at yours base waiting for you. Many exclusives have this issue sorted. Battlefield 3 - "the greatest MP ever" - does not.
Overall this is not a bad game, but it's far from being great. I rather play Killzone 3, Uncharted 3 or LoU MPs... As this is now for free at PS Plus I'll play it, but I would be very disappointed if would pre-order it.
