A Recommendation to any PC gamer out there! Although you shouldn't buy if you can't play the multiplayer.

User Rating: 9 | Battlefield 2 PC
Battlefield 2 is a classic FPS for the PC. The game is balanced well in terms of the 7 different classes. Special Forces (armed with an assault rifle and C4), Assault (assault rifle, grenade launcher), Sniper (sniper rifle, claymores), Medic (assault rifle, defibrillators, med. pack), Support (machine gun, ammo pack), Anti-Tank (SMG, rocket launcher), Engineer (shotgun, wrench). The most under powered class is probably the sniper.

There are 3 different Nations to play as. MEC (Middle East Coalition), USMC (United States Marine Corps), and the PLA (Peoples Liberation Army). There isn't much different between the 3 nations, just different guns and player skins.

There are many vehicles to play with like tanks, jets, jeeps, and helicopters.

My favorite part of the game other than the game play itself is the ranking system. It is used to track how many games you've played, accuracy with each weapon etc. The higher you advance in rank the more weapons that are available to unlock.

A new addition to the game is the ability to create squads. You are able to join a squad and re spawn on the squad leaders position, which is very convenient. This adds a level of teamwork to multiplayer.

The game features a single player mode but its nothing like online. Although the bots aren't by any means horrible. Don't buy the game for single player alone.

Multiplayer is a blast, especially when you are on a team that uses good teamwork. For me lag can be a problem sometimes but it is still playable (don't have the fastest connection speed).

The game only comes with one mode called conquest. It is entertaining but a team death match could have been added.

The graphics are a little dated but still good. I play with a dual core 2.5 GHZ processor, 4 gigs of RAM, and a ATI Radeon HD 3450. I suggest getting at least 2 gigs of RAM to play because load times are a little long.

The game is very entertaining and I still enjoy playing it today.
