Batman, for the NES was probably the first great movie -> video game adaption, though most people don't seem to remember it. Excellent graphics (for the nintendo), solid game mechanics, great enemies and levels, nothing in this game really had a fault. Though the difficulty was definitely high (as many Sunsoft games were, such as Blaster Master). The mood of the movie was perfectly captured (though the storyline was altered considerably). Memorable boss battles really made this game a treat, and it's very replayable. If you still have a NES kicking around, get this title off Ebay (or play it emulated, your call), it's worth your time.
