Batman Games have been known to fail, this one raises the bar.

Plain and simple, this game could have been a lot better, but I will settle for what it has given me. The gameplay is solid, however there is a conflict with the camera controlling options. A bit more could have been added to the moves that Batman is limited to, my recommendation for anyone who develops a batman game in the future...is to make it a more open ended environment. Give the player control of Bruce Wayne and Batman, let him choose how he wants to advance through the game, inevitably making him choose whether he wants to play in secrecy as a symbol, or as the face of gotham. Basically, recreate the whole design to be similar to Grand Theft Auto, but add Batman elements to it. That is the type of batman game I am waiting for to this day. I don't really have a lot to say about the game on the positives and negatives that really stood out...because the fact is nothing stood out...its just your typical average "beat em up" game.
