This game shines, even through a few issues.

This has been a game I waited months for, and I have to say, overall, it is worth the wait.

The game starts with Batman returning Joker to Arkham Asylum after his latest break-out. Joker has intentionally let himself be captured, because he has alterior motives in returning to the Asylum. I was afraid the story in this game was going to be a thin and I was pleasantly surprised. This game has Bioshock level atmosphere, with several incentives for checking every nook and cranny.

The combat is very visceral and satisfying, however I can't help but feel that it is a tad bit shallow. Nevertheless, it is still fun to fight, regardless of depth.

The graphics are very nice, as to be expected from the Unreal 3 engine.

The sound is a delight, with Mark Hamil and Kevin Conroy reprising their roles as the Clown Prince of Crime, and the Dark Knight, respectively.

Overall, it is a very atmospheric game, with several interesting challenge modes. A must buy for any bat-fan, and any fan of stealth, or action games.
