Best Batman game ever! That alone isn't saying much but it really is. Story: well of course you are the dark night. You are taking your nemesis Joker to jail and it was a trick and he busts out. And now that you're the Batman and you have anger issues you must take him out. Game: The controls are solid and the fighting is fun but very simple. You can be tricky or you can just go kick ass. But in so instances the bull in the china shop, well you will not live long. Some maps you have to act like the bat, using all your wonder full toys to take out the bad guy. Through the game you will get upgrades such as new weapons and abilities. The fighting doesn't do much in fact it is way too easy 2 buttons and thats about it. But if you make it to hard it is no fun watching batman get his ass kicked either, The graphics are great and the sound is too. The AI can appear dumb sometimes but for the most part they do their job. There is a sneak or crouch button but it is not needed at all. There are villain battles but they kind of fall short. For the most part I feel like I and in some side scroller video game. The game is in the game not the boss battles which is a good thing. The game lasts 10-12 hours, no online but there are unlocks. Such as a new costume and new challengers to complete where you can use all the upgrades you have acquired. But you can't use them in the single player again. There are certain places during the games progression that are only not accessible because of your equipment so then don't want you going were you are not supposed to go (A.K.A linier game). All and all it is a solid Batman game with some replay value but not worth the buy. I would rent it because of the 10 or so hours and limited replay after completion. But if you're a batman fan then by all means buy it you will not be disappointed (besides the boss battles).
