A game that completely immerses you into its universe while retaining the atmosphere of the batman universe.
The game is completely immersive , right up from the begininng till the end. The dark gotham atmosphere has been recreated flawlessly along with the characters found in the batman comics who have been modeled right up to the expectations without being too cheesy and also without trailing away too far from the original batman universe. The immersiveness of the game is enhanced further by the plot-line which is not too difficult to progress through and not too easy at the same.
The combat mechanics of the game is well developed too. When approaching enemies in the game, you often get two choices: if the enemies are armed, you have to take them out one by one stealthily and if the enemies aren't armed or posses only melee weapons, you can engage them head on in combat. Stealth combat feels almost perfect in strategy and somewhat puts you in batman's boots, reminding you that you aren't an ordinary immortal superhero. The melee mechanics on the other hand allows you to fight the enemy head on with some classic button mashing and stringing together different combos.
The graphics of the game is top notch, especially the physics in the game if you are using an Nvida graphics card. The characters as I mentioned before are modeled and animated right up to their standards. The environment of the game is also seemingly good looking which ones again enhances the immersiveness.
Overall, this game lets you finally enjoy the batman universe whilst delivering a good game-play. If you haven't tried it (despite if you are a batman fan or not), you must definitely get it and give it a try because these sort of well developed superhero games are hard to find.
