Best Batman game ever? Yes. Best superhero game ever? Yes again.
This Batman game is so good, they nailed being Batman better than anybody, and it's so great it may be the best Super hero game period. You really feel like you are the caped crusader, the controls are beyond spot on, and I don't think anybody could improve on it.
The Graphics are simple amazing the Gotham Knight has never looked better on screen. Zoom in on the Joker's face during the opening credits, as they are wheeling him to his cell, and he is ranting like a maniac. The ambiance is also pitch perfect, the voice acting is stellar Mark Hamil reprises his role as the Joker, as does Kevin Conroy.
The fighting has to be seen to be believed, hand to hand combat has never been so seamless, you can wipe the floor of a whole room full of assailants, hardly break a sweat, and look fantastic doing it.
There have been many hero games over the years, but none have immersed you so deeply, and completely. It's more than just a game, when you boot up "Batman: Arkham Asylum" you are Batman point of fact.
