I found this game to be better than most of the other rpg's iv'e played but not the best. It isvery good but not perfect in other words. They say the game had really great graphics but even though that's true the character design has many noticalble glithes during battle. The battle in the game may be aggravating at first but over a few hours you will master it perfectly. There are tutorials but they dont help much at all. So yes you will be confused in battles at first. It's best to read a strategy guide or the booklet. I did and it helped alot. The gameplay is allright but not as fun as Tales of Symphonia. In this game you will have to keep track of alot of things which can become a good chalenge for rpg fans. While going along in the story people here and there will ask you to do favors for them which offers alot of side quest (miniquest) in the game. Trust me, there are alot which will take your time. You will ussualy be rewarded after them. Mostly and always magnus cards will be given. The game took me about 69 hours to beat while collecting everything and doing everything without a guide which of what I have. It felt like a long time though which is good towards the value category. The story is hard to pick up and understand. You's have to pay attention closely to understand. Thing are happening but you don't know why and I bet you'd say to yourself "What?" This may get annoying but not as much as someone thats bothering you as an example. This review was basically about the not so good parts of the game which may seem like alot but it's not really. Ther is alot of goodness and I mean alot! When you get this game or if you have it allready then I suggest you calm down and spend alot of time to understand the mechanics of the game.
