I haven't finished this game, hail, I've barely started it, but I will say that it's quite interesting. I've played many games before where you need to relay on cards to fight though I've never actually seen a set up like this before. It takes partial knowledge of poker to really take advantage of the card system combat too. But besides that, the story line has me intrigued. And that's what really gets me into a role playing game, that the story line fit's well. Game play has always taken a back seat to the story line (as you can tell by what I've rated most of my games) but so far, this game does have an interesting story. Though some of you will have to get use to the combat system.
Again though, this is only a starting review. Once I've finished if not almost completed the game, I'll be back to replace this paragraph with a different one that actually relates to the game. Be back then for my final say so on Baten Kaitos.
