Nimble, but not so easy on the eyes.

This game presents pool in a bright palette of colors. That is definitely a plus. However, the title then loses some of this goodwill with its small onscreen figures and the minute degree of control over the stick. All you can do, pretty much, is aim and shoot. There is little or no regulation of speed. Pool is a game where your success depends on being able to aim well, so the flaws come back to haunt you almost immediately. Compare this to the free online game Eight Ball Champion, where the stick shadow provides one with an excellent idea of shot angles, and you'll see why the X Box Live Arcade edition could have been better. Bankshot Billiards 2 displays little of the soul and personality available in other titles. I had high hopes for this game, but it let me down.
