Banjo is better on the N64.

User Rating: 6.5 | Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge GBA
Banjo-Kazooie for the N64 has been a childhood favorite of mine for many years. It's hard not to fall in love with it's witty humor, wacky characters, and colorful and creative levels. But since the fall of the N64, Banjo and Kazooie had to be moved to other consoles. Their first stop was for the Gameboy Advance With "Grunty's revenge".

The story is that two months after the events of the first game, Banjo's nemesis Gruntilda has been resurrected from the boulder she was trapped under. Her spirit is now put inside a mechanical suit. She soon captures Banjo's best pal Kazooie and takes her back in time, hoping that they would never meet so she wouldn't get trapped. So it's up to Banjo to travel back in time to defeat Grunty once more.

While Grunty's Revenge is decent, it just doesn't have the charm or humor that made the first two games so special.

PROS:
-Graphics are bright and colorful like the N64 titles
-Provides the nice cartoonish music
-Classic gibberish
-Some of their old moves manage to be in here

CONS:
-It's a stale collect-a-thon
-You cannot restart mini games if you mess up
-Camera and depth perception are off at times It just doesn't provide the same charm and humor

While Rare and Microsoft did do an overall decent job on this game, I still believe that the first two titles on the 64 are still the best. If you are huge fan of the first two games, you may find a few things to like here.
