While there is no collection in the US for both BG1 n BG2 yet.. this pack is worth every cent and gives you hundreds of hours of entertainment. That being said the game pack even alone without knowledge of the original game should give you a immersive game with a stellar storyline.

The infinity engine has aged pretty well considering you don't even need a 3D card to play this game.. This game is almost bug free with the ToB patch.. the replay value delivered in the game is just almost unlimited.. depending on character, romance quests, subquests, and party makeup. The added bonus of 2 alternative endings to your main character also increases this.

All in all.. this is a game that should be looked at by all RPG game developers and players. For this game is timeless in its presentation and deliverance.
