Bad just doesn't do this game justice when you start talking about how flawed this garbled ruckus is.

I feel bad for Mr. Navarro. He had to actually play this game. And to top it off, he then had to write about it, in great detail. No matter how you put it, that is a very bad thing. Where does one start in this conundrum? First, I must find out why, despite how distressing and deporable the original game was, a sequel was made. I mean, did I miss something? Was the introductory efforts into the wrestling genre that unprecedented and imaginative that a sequel was mandatory, almost unavoidable? Things just do not seem to be easy for Eidos or Paradox. The game basically still suffers from what it did in the original: lack of content and a host of easy mistakes that should have been corrected. There are new characters, but who really cares about new people if all they do is still the same thing every other character already does? Which is, needless to say, pretty much nothing. You still have moves that fail to execute in wrestling fashion. If you get hit with a table, is it not supposed to at least look like it hurts? And the sound effects. Where did these come from? One of the developer's bathroom? They must have, because not only do they stink as if no one ever literally and genuinely played a wrestling game, they indubitably sound so counterfeit that I can not fathom that these sounds were given the ok to be in the game. The game just gets worse from there. The number of modes is reprehensible for a wrestling game, unless single player kicks it into high gear. BW2 does not do that. Only if you have the best of imaginations can you make this game seem worthwhile. But even then, you are still limited as to what you can do. If you like actually looking at what you are playing, then this may not be the game for you. Everything looks a little more refined, but I can hardly say that is a good thing. Most of what I see is the same thing used as in BW1, and then some concepts, bells and whistltes added just to cover up how enraging this game can be over time. Truth is, wanting this game in your video game library means you probably have more time on your hands than what you really should. Take care in the comfort of some other wrestling games that already hit the market this year if you want a really good experience with some fine wreslting. This game, does not have that resolve or creativity.
