Backyard Hockey is a bad example of how to make fun bot not serious hockey games.

This year there have been 4 NHL titles released. 2 of them have been serious NHL games that want to make there games are real as possible. And there have been 2 games that haven't been too serious and want to make and outragosly fun game in NHL Hitz and this game Backyard hockey. The 2 serious games are very well matched but the fun games is a miss-match and unfortunatly for backyard hockey they are the ones being dominated by NHL hitz. Firstly the game literally has no skill to it at all ,I mean you can score like 50 goals or more in 1 game so it is completky unrealistic. Like in NHL Hitz they make the game 3 on 3 and its like a hit fest where the score in every game is like 8-8 or something like that. But in backyard hockey you can win like 60-1 and it just takes the fun right out of it because you'll get to bored of pumbeling teams and when you score a big goal it won't really mean much to you. Second of all the commentary is atrocious, in NHL Hitz the commentary isn't great but is exceptional, while in this game if your up like 50-0, he may say something like "Don't count them out of this one yet sonny". Thirdly the graphics and sound are terrible, the graphics are especially spotty and doesn't look good at all. You can play the game with 2 players and there can be some moments of fun but you'll probably get like 3 times as many moments with NHL Hitz. Basically it comes down to this. If you like NHL games for the high scoring and super hits and super fun then you really should look at NHL Hitz and ignore this game because it doesn't really have much to offer you.
