I have to admit, for awhile I had been a fan of the work that came from Humongus Entertainment. Putt-Putt, Sly Fox, Pajama Sam, Fatty Bear...all these names represented original, entertaining computer adventures. Then came the Backyard series. At first it was entertaining, but it really died for me when they made Backyard Skateboarding, where EVEN ON THE BOX it says it's built out of old Tony Hawk parts. Way to go for originality, HE! And now, we keep seeing constant rehashes of past Backyard games, just on new systems or with new players.

Come on, who really thinks that playing as Shaq on a cartoon DS game is more satisfying than riding a minecar through Darkness Land (Pajama Sam 1)? I honestly cannot believe that people keep buying into this scam.

Oh well, I guess it worked for Madden.
