Back to the Future: The Game on Wii is a nice, strategic game and also a big improvement of the original NES game.

Intro:

Marty Mc-fly has a nightmare that Doc Brown has disappeared while testing the DeLorean time machine with Brown's dog Einstein inside. Marty wakes up, at first relieved it was nightmare then realizes it actually happened. He then travels to 1931 and finds Doc Brown locked up for destroying a building with the DeLorean. Now Marty must do anything in his power to get his friend out from behind bars. But as soon as that's done, more events cause the time-continuum to fall apart and Marty realizes the adventure has only just begun...

Game play:

The game is split into 5 episodes as you unravel the story on wards. The game play itself plays from a third-person perspective with strategic elements throughout the game.

Graphics:

Nice and bright cartoon graphics and visuals. Environments, along with character models, are great and well-built. Frame-rate kinda chugs a little, but it's not really that much of an issue especially considering how great the game looks.

Music and Sound:

Music is composed neatly and perfectly. Sound effects are as clear as a whistle.

Controls:

Numb-chuck joystick and D-pad for moving Marty around. Wii remote for pointing along with A for clicking at stuff.

Lasting Appeal:

One of the best games for the Wii and the best Back to the Future game to come along so far. Sure beats the hell out of the original NES game any day. 8.5 out of 10.
