When I played this game, it was addictive, high speed, and the tricks were a good addition.

I bought this game in '03 and probably haven't played it in 2 years. I remember this game and it is still in my collection. It was definitely worth playing. I consider it a high octane racing game, with good use of tricks, and the trick level itself was fun, also. It was worth every penny when I owned it, so if you can find it for a bargain now, it may be outdated, but was pretty fun at the time.
It can be a little stressful at times. If you hit something, you fly off, and don't just bounce off it and keep racing. The graphics were actually pretty impressive, and you can see the mudtracks and mud flinging or other earth where you are racing, throughout the game.
The AI of the other racers isn't too bad. If I remember correctly, you can actually bump them off with a kick, but I could be wrong on that one.
It is a solid title, and I consider it to be a little underated, as I figure my rating will actually put it barely above 8.0 or so.
The learning curve isn't too bad. It is 30 minutes or less, but I'll just say 1-2 hrs. because of the tricks you learn in the game.
