The controls are good, although, depending on your ATV, steering can sometimes be a pain. The best ATV handles very well, along with being super fast. Game play in itself is fun, whether your racing, freestyling, or just driving around. The difficulty of the game, is hard at first, because the first ATV's you get are pretty much junk. They handle terribly, and don't go too fast. You will crash alot in the middle of races, throwing the entire thing off, usually causing you to restart.
the maps are great but don't wander to far or you will get thrown back to the track. the in game action varies so watch out it's going to be one hell of a ride
