The only thing that makes this game worth getting is the retro collection... but, openning that is a chore!
The remixes of the classics is a good idea, but the true selling point of this title is the 60 or so old 2600 games included as an unlockable feature when you get the achievements for the remixed titles. While this may not sound bad, the controls make the remixes hard to play, thus making the achievments a real pain to get.
Since the old classics are the main selling point (at least for me), I found it overly frustrating to have to play (and excel at) every remixed title. So, with a little yahoo'ing I found a file that had everything opened up and just imported it to my PSP so I had the classics opened. After playing a few of them, I realized that this was good for a few seconds of memories, but was put down rather fast.
Bottom line is that this is a great trip down memory lane, but one that should be purchased on clearance (as in, ten bucks at the most).
